DIGITAL STORYTELLING
The Digital Storytelling module was a chance to create a different genre of game, allowing the player to control the narrative of the game, alongside some small minigames along the way.
The first section consists of my graphic and visual effects work, where I created a trailer, which I could then use for my main storytelling game. There are several variations of the logo, as well as my storyboard, that I created in order to document and structure the trailer from beginning to end.
Here is my final game piece, along with a prototype of the narrative, made using the browser game engine 'Twine'.
Within the game, you as the player are able to control the pace of the story, as well as being able to decide what avenues of the storyline you choose to take.
There are some cutscenes that I included within the game, as well as some minigames, as mentioned earlier.
