DREAM OFFICE
Not sure on what I wanted to model and expand my portfolio next; I decided to create my 'Dream Office'.
I began by creating the desk, monitors, desk chair, and album covers that would be present on the walls. From UV mapping the textures, I then started on the smaller details; more storage, shelves filled with books, plants and a reed diffuser. To add more depth I created a doorway to the office room, accompanied with the appropriate hinges, laminate to carpet prop, as well as the actual door itself.
The addition of the doorway allowed my office to look more realistic, as well as granting me the ability of another camera angle from the hallway, capturing the whole office.
As displayed, their are multiple still frame images I took from my 'Dream Office', before which, I took away the rooms exterior, leaving only the interior items, showcasing all of the individual models and their wireframes.
The model I undoubtably spent the most time on, was the keyboard, ensuring I made every key to proper proportion, and in the right place.
Once I had finished creating the keyboard model, I took its UV map into Photoshop, where I indiviually placed every letter and number, as well as creatin custom graphics for some of the keys; much like the windows and arrow keys for example.
