MOCK ADVERTISEMENT VOL.1
This was my first time and attempt at creating a realistic looking asset, using secondary imagery to UV map onto the asset, before then creating some advertisment imagery.
I began by finding a net template of some cereal, this being 'Kellogg's Crunchy Nut'; before I then brought the net design into Photoshop, chopping it up into segments for me to achieve accurant measurements within Maya for the imagery to fit nicely onto the model during the UV mapping stage.
Once I was finished scaling the model in Maya to the measurements of the imagery, I sorted the UV's out and sent them into Photoshop, for myself to add the actual imagery, which would be reflected onto the model in Maya.
The final step was to add a background and lighting. I created several iterations of the final pieces, as seen below, which were achieved using a spot light, and an area light.
